"DNDO is working toward implementing a red team program to assess the effectiveness of deployed detection systems. The term red team is used to describe adversarial role-playing to test a system's security vulnerabilities or readiness. Red teams provide DNDO the ability to identify vulnerabilities or gaps within radiological and nuclear detection and reporting systems before adversaries can exploit them".
