Domestic Readiness Group (DRG) 2 :
"The DRG is an interagency body convened on a regular basis to develop and coordinate preparedness, response, and incident management policy. This staff-level group evaluates various policy issues of interagency import regarding domestic preparedness and incident management and makes recommendations to Cabinet and agency deputies and principals for decision. As appropriate, the chair of the HSC [Homeland Security Council] and Cabinet principals will present such policy issues to the President for decision.
