A unit traditionally used in the textile industry to measure the density of a single fiber of yarn. One drex equals a density of one gram per 10 kilometers of length, or 1 microgram per centimeter (μg/cm). Since 1 drex equals 0.1tex, the unit is now called the decitex (dtex)
