Ductility 5

Ductility 5 : The property of an object, a structure or a structural component that allows it to continue to have significant strength after it has yielded or begun to fail. Typically, a well-designed ductile structure or component will show, up to a point, increasing strength as its deflection increases beyond yielding or cracking in the cases of reinforced concrete or masonry.
