Due Diligence 09
Due Diligence 09 : Some health and safety regulations allow a defence of "due diligence". This allows a person who may be subject to legal proceedings to establish a defence if they can show that they have taken "all reasonable precautions and exercised due diligence" to avoid committing an offence. Interestingly this defence is not available under The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974
