Dynamic Headspace Concentration Extraction : An extraction technique used to separate and concentrate ignitable liquid residues from fire debris samples by heating the sample in an enclosed container and forcing the headspace through an adsorbent medium where the volatile organic compounds are adsorbed. This technique is described in ASTM Standard E 1413
