Advising Bank 4 : A bank, operating in the exporter's country, that handles letters of credit for a foreign bank. This bank will notify the exporter that the credit has been opened in its favour. Although the advising bank must inform the exporter of the conditions of the letter of credit, they are not necessarily responsible for payment
