Easting 2 :
X-coordinate value in a plane coordinate system, e.g. in a Gauss-Krüger coordinate system. In a UTM system this value is called "false Easting". It is comparable with the latitude in a geographical coordinate system. (see also Northing and x- and y-value) Ellipsoid The ellipsoid is a three-dimensional form whose surface can be mathematically described enabling the assignments of coordinates to positions on the surface. An ellipsoid approximating the entire earth's surface in the most accurate way is called global geodetic datum whereas national reference systems rather refer to that specific area of the surface. The Bessel-Ellipsoid, the Krassovskij-Ellipsoid but also the WGS'84 (World Geodetic System) are ellipsoid examples
