Emergency Exposure Guidance Level (EEGL)


Emergency Exposure Guidance Level (EEGL) : A concentration of a substance in air (as a gas, vapor, or aerosol) that will permit continued performance of specific tasks during rare emergency conditions, lasting for periods of 1 to 24 hours. This should not be used for planned exposures because these guidance levels are neither safe nor hygienic
