Enclosed Area (Room Building, or Space) : Chemistry and Chemical Disasters. A three-dimensional space enclosed by more than two thirds (2/3) of the possible projected plane surface area and of sufficient size to allow the entry of personnel. For a typical building, this would require that more than two-thirds (2/3) of the walls, ceiling, and/or floor be present. (RP 500 B)
