Ergonomics 19 :
Ergonomics (or Human Factors as more commonly known in the US) refers to the relatively recent science of designing equipment and systems so that they are easier to use and less likely to lead to errors in operation. With reference of Office Ergonomics this often is associated with chair and seating design, although it can also equally refer to soft-systems such as software where reference to the information architecture of the user is taken into consideration.
