The eroded seaward face of a sand dune located landward of the location of the proposed works, where the seaward face of the dune is as steep as or steeper than the natural angle of repose of dry sand (1 vertical to 1.5 horizontal or 34o to the horizontal) and is more than 0.5 metres high where the works are to be installed
