Ethylene Amine : Ethylene amines are organic compounds essential in the manufacture of a wide range of products from detergents, paints and fuel oils to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, soaps, asphalt and paper. Ethylene amines include ethylenediamine (EDA), diethylenetriamine (DETA) and higher amines. EDA is used to produce TAED (tetraacetylethylenediamine) and EDTA (ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid), and in fungicides.
