Evaluation 07 : An on-going process to assess the effectiveness of a programme in achieving its objectives. Evaluation also aims to identify problems that may arise with the implementation of a programme, so that concerns are fed back into the planning process and modifications can be carried out during the implementation. An evaluation is usually designed to try to distinguish the effect of a programme from those of other factors
