Exercise Scope

Exercise Scope : "Most often, scope defines the kind, rather than number, of exercise participants (i.e., levels of government/ private sector). Other interpretations include: (1) Geographic size (local, national, regional). (2) Number of participants. (3) Responder functions. (4) Hazard Type. Exercise planners must be careful to make their scope manageable (neither too large nor too complex), selecting only those participants or actions best suited for the exercise program, type, budget, and objectives".
