Expense Constant : A flat charge insurance carriers require for each policy period or fraction of a period to offset fixed expenses such as policy issuance, data processing, auditing and general statistical and coverage record systems. This fee is not a function of the size of the account. Sometimes referred to as a renewal fee. (See Renewal Fee)
