Flight Level 3


Flight Level 3 : A level of constant atmospheric pressure related to reference datum of 29.92 inches of mercury. Each FL is expressed in three digits representing hundreds of feet. For example FL 250 represents a barometric altitude of 25,000 feet. Aircraft operating at altitudes greater than 18,000 feet MSL in the United States use Flight levels as their altitude reference
