Before a Flood: Listen To Local Radio: (a) Listen to local radio for information, updates and advice; (b) Information will also be posted through social media. Shortly Before A Flood: If you live or work in a flood-prone area there are simple things you can do when a Flood Watch is issued to prepare for floods: (a) Listen to your local radio station for information, updates and advice; (b) Locate and check your Emergency Kit; (c) Check on your neighbours and make sure they are aware of the Flood Watch; (d) Never drive, ride or walk through floodwater; (e) Locate and get ready to activate your Home or Business FloodSafe Plan
