Flooding, Inundation : A temporary covering of land areas by water due to the overflow of surface bodies of water or as a result of local torrential rain. The two main types of flooding encountered inland are river flood and flash flood. Flooding may also occur, usually on a local scale, as a result of such events as debris flow, lahar, backwater, groundwater rise, lake-level rise, glacial lake outburst flood etc. Situation when slop and/or rainwater leak from a sewer, can not enter a sewer, stay at the surface or enter buildings
