Framework Agreement 1
Framework Agreement 1 : A Framework Agreement is a negotiated agenda for 'Agreement in Principle' negotiations. It should identify the subjects for and objectives of the negotiations, and establish a timetable and the procedural arrangements for the negotiations. In the humanitarian context, a framework agreement often forms an important component of peace negotiations. For instance, a framework agreement was used by the UN to establish a political and humanitarian context for negotiation in Sierra Leone and Afghanistan. (OCHA)
