Fuel-Driven Fire 2 : A fire or part of a fire that is spread predominantly by the arrangement, condition, and/or other characteristics of the fuel within which it is burning. This situation occurs in the absence of a significant effect from the forces of alignment, such as wind, slope and aspect. Fuel-driven fires can produce erratic fire behaviour, which can represent a significant risk to suppression personnel
