Full Simulation Test

Full Simulation Test :

(1) Full Simulation Test is the ultimate business continuity plan test which activates the total business continuity plan. Related Terms (Type of Tests): Mock Disaster Test, Full Interruption Test. Note: Full Simulation Test is also called Mock Disaster Test. In disaster recovery test, it is called Full Interruption Test. The purpose is to simultaneously test as many components as possible in the organization recovery structure. The test is likely to be costly and could disrupt normal operations, and therefore should be approached with caution. Adequate time must be scheduled for the testing. The significant difference between a live test is that it does not require the primary site and systems to be halted.
