Global Environmental Facility
Global Environmental Facility : The GEF is aimed at four global problems: climate change, pollution of international waters, destruction of biodiversity, and depletion of stratospheric ozone. The Facility was started in 1990 as a pilot project to help developing countries protect the environment and to transfer environmentally benign technology to these nations.
