Global Plate Motion Model
Global Plate Motion Model : A set of Euler vectors specifying relative plate motions. Such models can be derived for time spans of millions of years using rates estimated from sea-floor magnetic anomalies, directions of motion from the orientations of transform faults, and the slip vectors of earthquakes on transforms and at subduction zones. They can also be derived for time spans of a few years using space-based geodesy. See: Stein and Klosko (2002)
