Groupthink
Groupthink : Disaster Management. Where people within a group fixate on one way of doing things and only find confirming evidence for the approach. No other options are considered and no one questions the strategy, possibly to avoid confrontation and conflict. Without challenging ideas and actions, groups can allow or make decisions without considering concerns from individuals that may not be voiced through fear of upsetting the consensus. (Janis, 1972)
