G-Series Nerve Agents 5 : Include tabun (GA), sarin (GB), soman (GD), and GF that are members of a class of compounds that are more lethal and quicker acting than mustard. They act rapidly and may be absorbed through the skin or the respiratory tract. Exposure to a lethal dose may cause death in as little as several minutes. These less persistent agents are used to cause immediate casualties and to create a short-term respiratory hazard on the battlefield
