Harmonic Tremor 2
Harmonic Tremor 2 : Oscillatory ground motion sustained for minutes to days or longer commonly associated with volcanic eruptions and often observed during the precursory phase of eruptive activity. The spectral content of harmonic tremor is commonly dominated by one or two spectral peaks in the frequency range 1 to 5 Hz. See: Volcanic Tremor; also Chapter 13 of this Manual and McNutt (2002).
