Hazard 52 : Also: Avalanche Hazard, Avalanche Danger, Danger Scale, Hazard Scale. The hazard, or danger, is a measure of risk in a given area at a particular time. It is usually with respect to the threat to people, property, or other human interests. There is a universal scale established with five levels.
