Hazard 66 : Hazards are created by extreme natural events that can cause loss of human life, or damage to property, infrastructure and the environment. The hazard is calculated and defined according to the nature of the event (for example: earthquake, flood), its location and extent, its scale and intensity (damage potential), the probability of its occurrence, and its duration and frequency.
