Health and Safety Representative 2
Health and Safety Representative 2 : A representative selected under provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario. A representative is usually required in a workplace with more than five but fewer than 20 employees. In such a workplace, workers must select one employee as a representative. Generally speaking, a health and safety representative has the same responsibilities and powers as a joint health and safety committee. See: joint health and safety committee.
