Health Hazard Assessment (HHA) : The application of biomedical knowledge and principles to document and quantitatively determine the health hazards of systems. This assessment identifies, evaluates, and recommends solutions to control the risks to the health and effectiveness of personnel who test, use, or service Army systems. This assessment includes the evaluation of hazard severity, hazard probability, risk assessment, and operational constraints; the identification of required precautions and protective devices; and the training requirements.
