Health Practitioner 1
Health Practitioner 1 : A health practitioner is: (1) a nurse under the Nursing Act 1992; or (2) a person registered under any of the following Acts: (a) Dental Practitioners Registration Act 2001; (b) Medical Practitioners Registration Act 2001; (c) Occupational Therapists Registration Act 2001; (d) Optometrists Registration Act 2001; (e) Physiotherapists Registration Act 2001; (f) Psychologists Registration Act 2001; (g) Speech Pathologists Registration Act 2001; or (h) a person who is eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (Child Protection Act 1999, schedule 3).
