Heat Exhaustion 01 : Medicine. (Med) Physical distress characterized by fatigue, nausea, heavy perspiration, pale clammy skin, subnormal temperature, vacant eyes, and general weakness brought on by overexposure to high temperature and deficiency of salt. Syn: Heat Prostration. See: Heat Stroke. Note: First Aid Includes Rest And, If the victim is able to swallow, three or four doses of 1/2 teaspoon of salt in 1/2 glass of water every 15 minutes.
