Heat Sink 1
Heat Sink 1 : (Phys) (1) A body in which heat from a system can be dissipated or stored. (2) A region in a system toward which heat migrates. (3) A material or device that absorbes unwanted heat, esp in electronic equipment and industrial processes. Note: Parts of the environment may serve as heat sinks; for example, the atmosphere, or a body of water.
