Heated Wagon
Heated Wagon : Railway Transport - Transport Equipment (Vehicle). Insulated wagon fitted with a heat-producing appliance. Such a wagon is capable of raising the temperature inside the empty body to, and thereafter maintaining it for not less than 12 hours without renewal of supply at, a practically constant value of not less than +12OC when the mean outside temperature of the body is that indicated for the two classes: Class A. Heated equipment for use when the mean outside temperature is - 10OC; and, Class B. Heated equipment for use when the mean outside temperature is - 20OC.
