Heterogeneou Combustion : (Comb) A heat-producing reaction in which the reactants are not mixed uniformly and exist in different phases. usually applied to the burning of solid particles or liquid droplets in air. Note: In rocket propulsion a dispersion of a solid oxidizer in a plastic binder is also considered a heterogeneous combustion system
