High Velocity Wave Action (Flood Resistance) : Condition present during the base flood where wave heights are greater than or equal to 36 in. (915 mm) or where wave run-up elevations exceed 36 in. (915 mm) above the finished ground level. Areas subject to high velocity wave action are designated on the flood insurance rate map or flood hazard map as Zone V, Zone VE, Zone VO, or Zone V1-30
