Hose 4
Hose 4 : A pliable water carrier used to channel water under pressure, available in diameters from 1/2 in. to 5 in. and lengths of usually 50 ft. Smaller hose (3/4 in. and less) is usually rubber-coated and rubber-lined. Except for suction hose, hoses with diameters of 3/4 in. and larger are usually rubber-lined and covered with one or two woven fiber jackets that protect the inner liner. See: Fire Hose
