Human Factors 07 :
H uman factors is considered to be synonymous with ergonomics, however it is essentially an American term, having its scientific roots grounded in psychology, whereas ergonomics which, as a science/practice, was formalized after WW2 in Britain, considers a very broad range of sciences (e.g. anatomy, psychology, physiology, industrial medicine, design, architecture, illumination engineering, etc.)
