Hydroformylation
Hydroformylation : A general name for processes which extend the chain lengths of aliphatic compounds by the catalytic addition of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. An olefin is thus converted to an aldehyde, whose molecule contains one more carbon atom than the original olefin
