Hydroseeding : A mechanical seeding technique in which a mixture of seed and water is sprayed onto slopes too steep for hand broadcasting or drilling, followed by raking and harrowing. Fibrous material is sometimes added to the mix to help hold the seed to the soil surface and act as a mulch
