Ignition Temperature 04

Ignition Temperature 04 : Minimum temperature a substance must attain in order to ignite under specific test conditions. Reported values are obtained under specific test conditions and may not reflect a measurement at the substance's surface. Ignition by application of a pilot flame above the heated surface is referred to as pilot ignition temperature. Ignition without a pilot energy source has been referred to as auto ignition temperature, self-ignition temperature, or spontaneous ignition temperature. The ignition temperature determined in a standard test is normally lower than the ignition temperature in an actual fire scenario
