Immunodeficiency
Immunodeficiency : Defective or deficient immunological mechanisms of the body due to insufficiency in one of the components of the immune process or to a defect in the B-lymphocyte or T-lymphocyte systems. Immunilogical deficit may result from infection, as in AIDS, or excessive radiation, as in nuclear war, or toxic substances. Syn: Immune Deficiency, Immunological Deficit.
