Impact Sensitivity (Layer or Deposit) : The objective of this test is to determine the easiness of an explosive to detonate as a shock effect. The used device basically consists of a base supporting two vertical guides to drive the drop of a hammer. On the base, between the two guides, the anvil is set and the sample is placed on it ready to receive the hammer hit. There is a vertical scale in one of the guides for sliding an index to show the hammer nominal height
