Isothermal Measurement Method

Isothermal Measurement Method :

The method consists of measuring the heat release rate of the sample at a fixed temperature during a long period of time, usually from 12 to 100 hours. With several isothermal experiments at different temperatures one can determine the exponential relationship between the heat release rate of a reaction and the temperature described by the Arrhenius law, and the value of its activation energy. The results are usually plotted in an Arrhenius diagram
