Joint Unified Command (JUC)
Joint Unified Command (JUC) : The JUC links the organizations responding to the incident and provides a forum for these entities to make consensus decisions. Under the JUC, the various jurisdictions and/or agencies and non-government responders may blend together throughout the operation to create an integrated response team. At the state level, the State of Mississippi has adopted a Joint Unified Command structure for incident management. This organizational framework places a state official side-by-side with a federal official at the section, division, and branch level, as the situation warrants these levels of organization
