Leukaemia 2
Leukaemia 2 : A malignant disease of a subset of white blood cells. It has various forms, with the most relevant in occupational terms probably being acute lymphatic leukaemia (ALL) and acute myelocytic leukaemia (AML). Occupational exposures strongly implicated as causing leukaemia are ionising radiation, benzene and ethylene oxide. There is also some evidence that exposure to low-frequency electromagnetic fields may cause leukaemia
