Limited Test Ban Treaty 1 : The bilateral Treaty signed and ratified by the United States and the (former) U.S.S.R. in 1963 which prohibits nuclear tests in all locations except underground, and prohibits nuclear explosions underground if they cause radioactive debris to be present outside the territorial limits of the state under whose jurisdiction or control the test would be conducted
