Antagonistic Effect 3

Antagonistic Effect 3 : This is the consequence of one chemical (or a group of chemicals) interacting: the situation in which the combined effect of two or more chemicals is less than the simple sum of their independent effects. In bioassay, the term may be used to refer to the situation when a specified response is produced by exposure to either of two factors but not by exposure to both together (Last, 1983)
