Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB)
Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) : An accredited organization which undertakes the certification of sprinkler installers. It publishes standards for sprinkler systems based on British Standards, and provides third party verification of the sprinkler installers' work. With Bodycote warringtonfire, one of these is for companies installing domestic and residential systems, the other for companies working on commercial and industrial sprinkler systems. Both organizations require their listed companies to issue certificates of conformity to the owners of sprinklered buildings. These certificates are proof to Fire Brigades, Local Authorities and Insurance Companies that the system meets the appropriate standards and has been installed correctly
